This month, we have a great mix of restaurants, bars and cafés at hand, which includes a new speakeasy bar, a magic-infused restaurant, two American eateries and a Mediterranean-influenced restaurant.

Quivo, Pavilion KL
Adding to the chic aesthetics of Pavilion KL, Quivo is a Mediterranean-influenced 'speakeasy' restaurant. To find this restaurant, one has to pass through the doors of the Kate Spade boutique on the third level, where you'll find a hidden golden door within. Pass through the golden gates and you will be greeted with delectable burgers, paddleboard pizzas and unique cocktails. Alternatively, there is also an alfesco dining area that faces the dining boulevard of Pavilion KL.

Quivo is located at Level 3, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, 168 Jalan Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur.

If you have a taste for the Southern flair, then ACME South is where you need to be. With a simplistic one-page food menu, the restaurant never fails to impress with its wide array of Southern United States dishes like beef ribs, po’boy shrimp sandwich and crab gumbo. While you’re at it, also try its homemade cold brew coffee that is guaranteed to satisfy your caffeine needs.

For those who love our top 5 speakeasy bars, here is another place worth visiting. Opened by the folks of The Good Batch café on the upper level of the same establishment, Hyde at 53M is a place for cocktail lovers who need a night away from the city buzz. For you to find the bar, simple walk up the flight of stairs at The Good Batch and look for a sliding door to access this swanky watering hole.
