Ramadan is here and as Bijan’s tradition, Chef Shawal and his culinary team have planned some great mouth-watering menus for this holy month.
This year’s buffet features four rotating menus that make up the four regions in Malaysia, showcasing unique and iconic dishes.
The buffet spread includes grill stations and live-cooking stalls, giving diners the freedom to choose their preferred dishes. Also lookout for old favourites such as keropok lekor, serabai, lontong, laksa Kedah, sambal hitam Pahang, gulai daging umbut, solok lada, asam pedas daging tetel and many more.
Diners will definitely be spoilt for choice, especially with a delicious appetiser spread that includes classic fruit rojak, fried cucur, lempeng kelapa bilis, roti jala and more.
At the live cooking stations, the laksa section shouldn't be missed thanks to the cooking team's use with a traditional recipe – laksa Kedah. The dish comes from the northern region of Malaysia with a spicy and sour flavour combo that packs a punch.
Other noteworthy dishes include gulai ayam kampung, udang sambal berempah, kerutup itik and ketam cili bersantan.
For those with a sweet tooth, Malay kuih offerings will definitely hit the right spot. Along with the sweet cakes and tarts, a must try is the bubur kacang hijau durian.
The Selera Warisan Negeri buffet dinner is available only from May 29 to June 23. It is priced at RM110++ per person.
