The lazy and laid back nature of Sundays are easily represented by the Sunday brunch, where, instead of having two meals at the start of the day, you settle for the merging of them into one.

And at St Regis Kuala Lumpur, that merging is done in the most decadent way possible.

With a heavy and healthy dose of French influence, the Sunday brunch at The Brasserie features high quality ingredients, imported produce, and deft hands that bring them all together.

Diners will get to try a variety of seafood including Royal Alaskan King Crab, Fine de Claire oysters, smoked salmon and cured salmon, before moving on to the equally fine and creamy Burrata.

The buffet line features a handful of localised dishes while the carving station serves up roast turkey and Black Angus rib eye served with several sauces to complement them.

For a cheese lover, the real highlight will undoubtedly be the assortment of imported cheese. A variety of textures, flavours and aromas – courtesy of Vacherin Mont d’Or, Roquefort AOP Papillon and Camembert cheese, to name a few – mark the cheese station, where diners can enjoy the cheeses with different breads and crackers, or just by themselves.

Alongside the buffet, a made-to-order a la carte menu is also available, featuring dishes like linguine served with Black Angus bolognaise, asparagus risotto, eggs Florentine, and waffles served with foie gras terrine and mango chutney.

Finally, an extensive desert bar and free-flow of Veuve Clicquot champagne, red wine, white wine and other alcoholic beverages cap off the evening.

Brunch at the Brasserie is available every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm, priced at RM298 nett per person, without alcohol and RM468 nett per person, with alcohol.
