Enjoy a winning combination of wine and dinner at Italian restaurant Prego at The Westin Kuala Lumpur on April 27, 2017. The five-course dinner will feature selections by Italian wine specialist, Erika Gallon, who will also be gracing the session with her presence.
Guests will have the chance to savour exquisite wine pairings from the Lamole di Lamole winery, curated by Erika and complemented by Prego’s specially crafted main courses.
The first main features a poultry combination of poached truffle chicken and spiced duck with celeriac purée – matched respectively with Lamole di Lamole Chianti DOCG 2012 and ChiantiClassico Blue Label DOCG 2012. Both wines possess distinct Sangiovese spicy notes that harmonise well with the elegant chicken and piquant duck dishes.
The dinner ascends an intense note with the Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2011 that adds a savoury dimension to a red meat main, a sous vide and herbs crusted lamb loin, castle mango curd, truffle potato, spring vegetables, caramelised almond and quinoa, with natural jus.
